Tottenham boss Redknapp hoping Man Utd, Chelsea target Modric stays one more year

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is convinced holding onto Luka Modric.

The People says Spurs manager Redknapp is confident Modric won’t rock the boat this summer and demand a move from White Hart Lane.

The Croatian’s decision will also mean Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini will have to look elsewhere for a play-maker, as well as Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson who is looking to replace Paul Scholes after the United star quit last week.

Had Modric been interested in moving Ferguson, as well as Chelsea, would have been at the front of the queue for the 25-year-old.
